The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation function includes two high-quality displays consisting of a high-resolution 10.5" Control Display that can be operated by touch and a fully digital 12.3" instrument display. The BMW Operating System 7 can also be operated via the iDrive Touch Controller.
M SETUP
The M Setup* allows you to configure various driving dynamics parameters such as engine, transmission and steering characteristics, damper settings, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) control intensity or the power distribution of the optional M xDrive all-wheel-drive system according to your individual requirements. *M Setup is available for BMW M3 Competition Sedan and BMW M3 Sedan.
INTEGRATED M SPECIFIC BRAKING SYSTEM
In addition to saving approximately 2 kg in weight, the integrated M specific braking system of the BMW M3 Competition Sedan and BMW M3 Sedan provides very high braking dynamics. For a maximum level of individualisation, the driver can choose between "Comfort" and "Sport" brake pedal parameters according to the situation.

The BMW M TwinPower inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features superior power delivery and the striking characteristic M engine sound. Two mono-scroll turbochargers, direct High-Precision Injection, fully variable valve control and variable camshaft control ensure outstanding performance.
M SPORT DIFFERENTIAL
The M sport differential optimises traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend, when taking bends at high speeds or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.
8 SPEED STEPTRONIC SPORT TRANSMISSION
The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic offers numerous shifting options: extremely dynamic, particularly comfortable and smooth, fuel-saving. You can shift manually using the gear lever or the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel, or select one of three automatic programmes using Drivelogic.
