From the simple, effortless opening of the vehicle using the Digital Key with your smartphone, via a modern and intuitive operating concept in the cockpit, the Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Plus through to the Parking Space Assistant including Reversing Assistant.
BMW Gesture Control
Certain functions can be operated by means of defined hand movements. For certain operations the system will for example recognise gestures such as 'swiping' or 'pointing' for accepting or rejecting an incoming call, or circular motions of the index finger to adjust volume.
BMW Digital Key
Why take your key with you if you have your smartphone with you? You can lock and unlock your BMW and even start it with the Digital Key. You can also authorise up to five people with an iPhone* – if compatible – to use your BMW.

BMW Head-up Display
The full-colour BMW Head-Up Display shows relevant driving information directly in your field of vision. This includes details such your speed and navigation directions, allowing you to concentrate fully on the road ahead.
Parking Assistant Plus
Parking Assistant Plus makes parking and manoeuvring the vehicle easier. It features among others the Surround View system including Top View, Panorama View, Remote 3D View, as well as a lateral parking aid, the emergency braking function Active Park Distance Control, Parking Assistant with longitudinal and lateral guidance and Reversing Assistant.

M Twinpower Turbo V8 Cylinderpetrol Engine.
The M TwinPower Turbo V8-cylinder petrol engine combines innovations such as two turbochargers with electric blow-off valve, cross-bank exhaust manifold and even more powerful engine electronics with proven BMW systems.
M Sport Differential
The M sport differential optimises traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend, when taking bends at high speeds or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.
M Specific Suspension
The M-specific 2-axle suspension permits especially comfortable motoring with high driving dynamics. Integral Active Steering with rear wheels that share the steering further increases agility and manoeuvrability.
Steptronic Sport Transmission
The 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. Whether automatic or manual using gearshift paddles or gear lever – for comfortable coasting or incredibly dynamic driving. In SPORT mode and with the gear lever in the left-hand S/M position, the gear shifts are configured for the best performance.
