No problem − thanks to BMW Teleservice Battery Guard, the practical BMW ConnectedDrive service that prevents battery failure: if the state of charge of the battery drops below a certain level, the BMW Teleservice Battery Guard will inform you or Staging BMW directly or the next time you start the engine. This means you can avoid any starting issues or battery-related malfunctions − as your BMW can now monitor its energy supply itself. Keeping an eye on your battery – around the clock.

Condition Based Service (CBS) sensors constantly monitor fluid levels (e.g. engine oil) or wear-and-tear components (e.g. brake pads). If a service appointment is needed, your BMW automatically transmits all service-related data to BMW. Your preferred BMW Service Partner will call you to arrange an appointment, if necessary. Due to the accuracy of the data relayed, the service appointment can be prepared perfectly with all required components and spare parts – so the vehicle only stays at the Service Centre for a minimum time period. The Battery Guard functions are generally available as a basic service from BMW TeleServices. To receive a Battery Guard email, you only need to customise this service in the BMW ConnectedDrive portal by leaving email address.
